Uncle Will is the brother I keep coming back to. Same parents as Tom — Garrison Jenkins and the former Delia Newman — and the same road out of Pike County. On the 1900 census in that county he is Willie, in their household with George, Tom, Marvin (Monroe), Emmaline, Levi, and JayGou. An issue near Holmesville, told on both the Delta side and the Pike side, forced Tom to leave. He did not leave alone. Will and Monroe went with him. What I have found puts them first in Shelby.
